All of our friendship bracelets are inspired by a memento of travel. The cords represent the colourful memorabilia Monica would bring back on her wrists from each place to remind her of the journey. Each collection is named after one of her favourite escapes.

Esencia, the latest additon to the Friendship Collection, is very much inspired by the Mexican coast. Monica spent many years there with her husband running a fishing lodge before setting up MV.

The contrast of the wild jungle with the colourful architecture of Luis Barragán, all set against the backdrop of the monolithic stones of local Mayan ruins, were the inspiration behind this collection. All so different, yet complementary. This collection introduces a new organic shape but continues to celebrate the colourful cords that have become beloved in all our friendship pieces.
